It actually wasn't getting the lowest it was around 2-3 and sat at 2.7 for the longest time until manga came out. One of those early reviews is mine lol. Having changed my rating because of people who just rated it 1. It's not a 1 is the hill I'm dying on yes. It's a 2/5 a 5-6/10 or a mid manga. I'm not saying it's a 10 but people saying it's a 1 are rating it as properly as the people who are rating it a 10. I uploaded the first chapter of the manga before the current group did but deleted it for consistency so I know lol. I also worked on that other one though I kinda voted it 1 cus I wanted the lowest rated manga lol.

It's also rated very differently on Amazon scoring a 4/5 (manga) and a 2/5 (LN I voted 3). Other sites it averages but more often it's a mid manga. The comments are also not hung up on the same things the people here are. Like Daru being a groomer lol.

Yeah that is what I don't understand you clearly rate this manga as mid yet why you put this much efforts in defending a mid manga. If this manga is your favorite then I understand the effort.
And honestly the groomer things is understandable even you bring up the groomer thing, not like I have a problem with that since japanese are really in touch with hikaru genji ideal. Ignoring that this manga is just full of poor execution of everything

Because I liked it enough to pick it up myself lol. It's a mid manga but it's not rated as such. It's rated as one of the worst mangas in this site which it is not. And people were trying to point out things that weren't there. Like the groomer thing, the author trying to paint est as a bad guy or ignoring how Daru wanted to keep Est. I brought up the groomer thing because it's one of the most mentioned things what? I have a lot of problems with this manga.

I really hated that Daru was the main character and not Athena. I really hated how they handled the demon. I think it should have been about how they grow as a team through effort and skill rather than cheats or talent but the demon part kinda ruined that. The NTR thing was dumb but I agree with Daru he should have been a man and confronted them about it instead of allowing himself to be cucked in his mind. I didn't like the Elf in general. Dragon girl could have been better but she felt very tropish. Haha tomboy/brutish dragon girl being arrogant over how strong she is physically. Never seen that one before. Anyways there were a lot of problems with the manga but it is def not a 3/10 manga.

Like I said I don't care about the groomer thing. Believe me if the author can actually makes Daru a likeable and charismatic character no one will actually care. Honestly even the ntr stuff, est chicken out so it's fair game lmao.
You can make any plot good as long as you give the character a good characterization and consistency. But every character in this manga is just so unlikeable and their train of thought is so confusing you stop in every chapter just to think "why they do that?" and in next chapter you are greeted by a very stupid reason

And as I said just move on. trying to convince me and other that this manga is only mid is not gonna work and only gonna make you waste your energy

I wish the author made Daru a bastard and really did a number on Est on that night and this manga will skyrocket in ratings.

It is because the author is obeying his editor that caused the manga to get axed.

This is one manga, that if executed oppositely from the source, would become the greatest ugly bastard novel ever.

I was really only talking about this thread where I don't see that behavior, I'm not deep diving 33 threads to try to make a point. That would be weird.

Also that post is just celebrating that a trash manga scored low, nothing about it leads me to believe that guy is giving a false low score or encouraging others to do so. Reading through their other posts on this manga they genuinely believes it's shit. The only enjoyment they got out of it was seeing just how bad it would get along with other MD readers.

Whether that guy think it's 1, 2, or 4 out of 10 shit is really up that person's subjectivity. There are even some people out there that would give it a 7 because it is "so bad it's good" but I don't really believe that argumentation personally when it comes to ratings.

There are lot of bad manga on this site I agree, there are many that are arguably worse than this one even, however at the end of the day most of those are just 'bad' and 'forgettable'. This managed to be bad in just the right ways that it will be remembered for at least a few years for being synonymous with trash manga.

Yes and? I'm not denying it. There's been a few people in the comment pages who've admitted that was the case. Jesus dude. I've said multiple times it's a mid manga but rated it higher because the score didn't suit it. There are way worse mangas out there rated higher. A NTR guro Isekai manga is one above this one ffs lol. It was cancelled as well and ended in a cliffhanger. The Japanese have rated it higher and not as annoying as the comments here about weird things like Daru being a groomer or est being painted as the bad guy
